Jorge Amador

Joined AIP in 2009.  Prior to joining AIP, Mr. Amador was Manager of Professional Services and Product Development at Factory DNA, Inc., a startup in the manufacturing software and consulting services space.  Before Factory DNA, Inc., he was a Senior Consultant at Factory Logic, Inc. a startup that provided software to model the Toyota Production System. Factory Logic, Inc. was purchased by SAP and is now integrated into SAP’s offering.  In both companies, his responsibilities included sales support, customer management, enterprise software implementation and consulting.

Prior to Factory Logic, Jorge was a Project Manager at Applied Materials Inc.  He was a key member of a team in the Global Operations Division that performed strategic projects for the Office of the President.  Early in his career, Jorge was a Quality Manager at the Central American division of Unisys Corporation.

Mr. Amador has a Master of Science degree in Management and Engineering from MIT and a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Costa Rica, in San Jose, Costa Rica.
