Stanadyne Corporation ("Stanadyne") is a leading designer and manufacturer of highly-engineered, precision-manufactured engine components, including fuel injection equipment for diesel engines and hydraulic lash compensating devices for gasoline engines. The company’s products improve engine performance and are key to achieving emissions compliance, noise reduction, and fuel economy. The company sells engine components to engine OEMs for use in automobiles, light trucks, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and industrial products. Stanadyne also sells replacement parts through an extensive aftermarket distribution network. Due in part to its proven technological capabilities and its reputation for innovative, high-quality products, the company has become the sole supplier on many engine platforms characterized by long-term, high-volume production runs. Stanadyne was sold in 2004.
